Telecom for Charity has developed a close working relationship with the BRC. T4C has implemented and supports the Broadview Office Suite platform for 16 locations through out NYC. This feature rich hosted phone sytem has made communication simple to manage while maintaining ease of use. A hosted PBX means less equipment, which translates to lower maintenance repsonsibilities and less upfront cost.

The Carbon Fund  www.carbonfund.org

We have partnered with Carbonfund.org to create an effective way to support the enviroment with your every day business telecom resources.

Carbonfund.org is leading the fight against global warming, making it easy and affordable for any individual, business or organization to minimize their climate impact and hastening the transformation to a clean energy future. Carbonfund.org achieves its goals through Climate Change Education, Carbon Offsets and Reductions, and Public Outreach.

Using their Carbon Calculator you can determine how much carbon pollution your business is responsible for. An average office of 25 people produces approximately 124 tons of carbon dioxide per year. This amount can be offset for a cost $1242 through supporting various projects such as renewable energy, reducing existing energy use, and even reforestation.

The same office of 25 people would also spend approximately $1500 per month on phone and internet services. Through the Telecom for Charity initiative this would generate a 5% monthly donation equaling $900 a year. This donation can then be directed to Carbonfund.org to offset a portion of your company’s carbon footprint. Visit Carbonfund.org to learn more about becoming a CarbonFree® Partner.
